Another dimension of Rony’s work is the exaggerated opulence; the Pink Panther piece represents an oversized chandelier trimming which, in such size and color, gains a whole new dimension and character. It becomes a kind of opulent, even “nonsensical” trinket pointing to the human passion for things that are exceptional, or even fleeting.
